Will installing this stock create an NFA item?
It can. Per Arsenal’s own notice, attaching this stock to a pistol-configured AK (such as the SAM7K) converts the firearm into a short-barreled rifle (SBR), which requires prior ATF approval and NFA registration before assembly; on a firearm already built and registered as a rifle, it’s a standard stock swap.
