This kit ships with a 24-inch length of braided nylon cord so the shell functions exactly like the Original VanGuard, riding on a lanyard instead of a belt clip. If you decide later that you want the full IWB holster kit, the same VG2 shell can be upgraded by adding a VG2 Strut Kit.
