It lets a Vickers Sling or any other sling 1.25″ or thinner attach to eyelets, slots, rail holes, or other unique mounting points on a weapon where no standard sling swivel socket exists. The Molded UWL uses the same military-proven nylon-coated aircraft-grade stainless steel cable crimped into a nylon 6-6 body found on the standard UWL, the same military-grade non-reflective material used on the Vickers Sling. Its inner feature includes a push-button socket, so a standard push-button sling swivel can be used as well if preferred.
