It uses about one-third of the bearing surface of a stock follower, which reduces friction and binding for smoother feeding out of the magazine tube. A center hole lets you verify a clear weapon by touch without pulling the follower for a visual check. This version is built without magazine crimp clearance, so it will not fit tube designs that use factory crimped retention dimples, including the Benelli Nova, Supernova, Vinci, and Super Vinci, or the Browning BPS/A5, CZ 612/712, FN SLP, Franchi 912 Variomax, and Winchester SX2/SX3.
