The HEVI-Shot Magnum Blend 20 Gauge 3-Inch #5/#6/#7 Shot 5 Rounds load is a tungsten shotshell for turkey (HEVI-Shot part no. HS567). HEVI-Shot Magnum Blend combines No. 5, 6 and 7 shot cast from 12 g/cc tungsten in one shell for turkey hunters. The maker says the dense tungsten pellets retain more energy for extended range on tough gobblers, with higher pellet counts than lead payloads and better pattern density. This load carries 1-1/4 oz of tungsten shot at a published 1200 fps muzzle velocity, with 280 pellets in the payload, and each box holds 5 shells.
