The Savage Axis 2 XP Compact rifle in 7mm-08 Remington with a 20-inch barrel and gray finish (brand part no. 32232) pairs a mild-recoiling big-game cartridge with a factory-mounted, bore-sighted 3-9×40 scope for a complete out-of-the-box hunting setup. Savage equips the scope with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments, and the redesigned ergonomic stock includes an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, tunable pull, and a 4-round detachable box magazine ships with the rifle. This Youth Rifle-classified model is sized with a shorter length of pull. Among compact bolt action rifles, this Axis 2 XP configuration favors younger or smaller-framed hunters who want a complete rifle-and-scope package.
